The work of a social manager is focused on creating initiatives and moments of confrontation aimed at engaging the entire neighborhood: from residents, to owners, services and the community. Social managers also operate by connecting between the property and the community, and between the latter and the local neighbourhood. Among the objectives that they set for the collective good of the community and the success of international experience of urban requalification: community management, community governance support, active listening, conflict resolution, monitoring and social ratings, and the creation of an extensive network of services to be shared by the residents. L’Innesto also envisages networking and participatory shared economy with the aim of creating a close knit community interested in taking care of everyone’s wellbeing and in enriching the neighbourhood, both from a human and new services standpoint.
“The work asset out by the Social Manager is focused on creating initiatives and moments of discussion aimed at engaging the entire neighbourhood: from residents, to owners, services and the community.”
Delta Ecopolis is a cooperative made up of Milanese citizens that since the first years of 2000 has impacted the evolution of the cooperative system in the city, dealing with market issues within the particularly complex and dynamic housing sector.
